Passion Meets Community at LanHQ
LanHQ was born from a deep passion for gaming and the unique ability of LAN parties to bring people together. After years of volunteering with renowned events and operating the three MegaFPS LAN events annually, LanHQ emerged as a way to create meaningful, tailored experiences for the gaming community.
It all started with BachLAN, a bachelor party turned unforgettable LAN event styled after “Back to the Future.” With 25 close friends, a gaming-themed local brewery keg, and a weekend full of gaming, the idea for LanHQ began to take shape.
Today, LanHQ is committed to fostering Alberta’s LAN gaming scene by hosting engaging and interactive events. By listening to feedback from attendees and tailoring each experience to their needs, LanHQ strives to revitalize a gaming tradition that has dwindled in Canada while continuing to build on the existing community.
